The Christopher Columbus Philatelic Society - Sociedad Filatelica Colombina was founded 12 October 1982 as a not-for-profit, educational organization for the study of philatelic and allied material related to the life and voyages of Christopher Columbus and includes those around him and the World Columbian Exposition of 1893.

DISCOVERY! is the official quarterly journal of the society. The cost for each 16 page issue is US$5.00 and copies may be obtained by sending $5.00 to the Editor, Donald R. Annual dues are US$20 for all members in the USA and $24 for all others.

The Christopher Columbus Philatelic Society (CCPS) is a unit of the American Topical Association and the American Philatelic Society. Our 100 plus members are from all over the world. Our members collect stamps, covers, maximum cards, postmark cancellations, first day covers, postage meter strips, stationery, souvenir sheets, postcards and related items with a tie to Columbus. The areas collected by our members are as varied as the categories listed above.

3 August 2006Members of CCPS are going to meet in the Canary Islands from 14 to 24 March and will visit places of interest related to Christopher Columbus.
